Every garden and access route is different, so all projects are quoted individually. Here's a realistic guide based on a popular 5m x 3.8m layout using a quality flat-pack SIP kit, professional labour and full finish.

Alongside flat-roof studios, I'm developing a curved green-roof garden room – combining a soft organic roofline with wildflower or sedum planting. It's designed to sit comfortably in natural gardens and woodland plots.
The concept uses the same SIP structure for strength and efficiency, with a laminated curved roof deck and green-roof build-up.

Many garden rooms can be built under permitted development if they meet certain height and usage rules. I'll always advise honestly and, if needed, can help you speak with the local council or a planning consultant.
Once the base is in, most 5m x 3.8m SIP garden rooms take around 2–3 weeks on site, depending on weather and specification.
A complete Helps & Co garden room usually includes the SIP shell, foundations, doors and glazing, internal lining and flooring, electrics, internal & external lighting and decoration. We'll agree the exact specification before you commit.
Yes. I regularly install high-quality flat-pack SIP kits, adapting details on site to suit your garden. This keeps quality high and speeds up the build, while still allowing for bespoke layout and finishing.
